Hernia Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Drive clinical and procedural excellence in the management of hernia disease to achieve growth that surpasses market averages.

• Develop strategic plans for key accounts.

• Cultivate essential relationships with customers.

• Implement initiatives for robotic integration.

• Utilize sales, education, and program initiatives to enhance procedural adoption and market conversion.

• Build expertise in clinical and procedural aspects across the hernia portfolio.

• Formulate and execute strategies aimed at increasing market share for hernia solutions.

• Apply the Fragment, Expand, & Standardize (FES) model to convert accounts.

• Strengthen collaborations with important stakeholders.

• Engage with customers to enhance patient outcomes and encourage procedural adoption.

• Lead the integration of robotic surgery into hernia procedures.

• Position the hernia portfolio as a vital solution for robotic-assisted surgery.

• Employ advanced selling tools, disease-state education, and innovative solutions to generate new business opportunities.

• Implement market development programs, therapy awareness initiatives, Pace programs, training, and simulation labs.

• Achieve or surpass sales quotas.

• Execute the launch of new products.

• Effectively manage forecasting and opportunities.

• Travel throughout Providence, RI, and parts of western Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut to engage with multiple accounts.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND a minimum of 6+ years of field sales experience OR Associate’s Degree AND at least 4+ years of field sales experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND a minimum of 2+ years of field sales experience.

• Must reside within the designated territory.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hiring and for the duration of employment.

• Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within the medical device or healthcare sector.

• Strong grasp of clinical environments.

• Ability to communicate intricate product information effectively.

• Experience in building and maintaining key customer relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers.

• Capability to develop and implement strategic business plans.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

• Proficiency in CRM tools such as SF.com, forecasting, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a qualification that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
