This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer strategic guidance and leadership regarding health outcomes evidence requirements throughout Lilly’s portfolio.
• Establish real-world evidence, patient-reported outcome, and economic value strategies within the cardiometabolic health division.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and enhance a team of HEOR scientists.
• Facilitate the integration of HEOR from initial clinical development to commercialization.
• Design and manage health outcomes research strategies for various compounds in the portfolio.
• Act as a senior HEOR strategic collaborator on lead/core teams.
• Develop and implement patient-centered outcome, real-world evidence, and economic value strategies.
• Generate impactful science throughout the product lifecycle.
• Utilize technical expertise in statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, patient-centered outcomes, observational/epidemiologic research, and health technology/value assessment.
• Address health outcomes challenges related to registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access.
• Lead evidence planning and execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Influence business stakeholders on HEOR prioritization, trade-offs, and recommendations.
• Convey health outcomes information to internal stakeholders, scientific communities, and customers.
• Oversee dissemination through abstracts, posters, presentations, promotional materials, and manuscripts.
• Monitor developments in disease-state, health outcomes, market trends, and methodologies.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and scopes are adhered to with both internal and external partners.
• A Doctorate (PhD, MD) with over 7 years of experience in developing, executing, and delivering health outcomes strategies/projects, or a PharmD/MS degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding and communication abilities, including the capacity to clearly and concisely translate and disseminate complex scientific information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate within and across teams.
• Demonstrated experience in setting and leading HEOR strategy for a portfolio or therapeutic area.
• Proven leadership experience in formally managing, developing, and guiding scientists.
• Established ability to influence senior internal and external decision-makers.
• Demonstrated capability to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination.
• Ability to think and act with a global perspective, focusing on customers and solutions.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10–25%.
