Portfolio Strategy Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct portfolio strategy initiatives by aligning business growth projections, utilization insights, real estate alternatives, financial factors, and operational needs into actionable recommendations.

• Create real estate scenarios that encompass options, trade-offs, risks, dependencies, sequencing, and suggested pathways forward.

• Convert business strategies and stakeholder requirements into specific real estate objectives and initiatives.

• Prepare executive-ready business case memos for lease renewals, consolidations, new locations, property dispositions, relocations, and capital projects.

• Organize business cases using uniform frameworks, templates, and decision-support standards.

• Collaborate with Finance and stakeholders to analyze financial implications and convert investment trade-offs into informed recommendations.

• Compile complex inputs into clear narratives, recommendations, FAQs, and updates for leadership.

• Coordinate inputs from various functions and promote alignment among clients, accounts, and functional stakeholders.

• Integrate stakeholder viewpoints into unified recommendations and actionable next steps.

• Supervise regular and ad hoc portfolio reporting in collaboration with Data & Analytics.

• Manage governance tools, including decision logs, action trackers, and risk/dependency registers.

• Enhance business case development, reporting, and governance processes.

• Standardize decision-making frameworks, reporting schedules, templates, and communications with stakeholders.

• Leverage technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to advance research, reporting, information synthesis, and strategic decision support.

• Relevant experience and qualifications for the position.

• Proven ability to steer portfolio strategy, provide executive decision support, and ensure stakeholder alignment for intricate corporate real estate projects.

• Capability to translate business demand, real estate supply options, stakeholder requirements, financial aspects, and portfolio data into executive-ready alternatives, trade-offs, and actionable portfolio decisions.

• Proficiency in developing real estate scenarios and executive-ready business cases.

• Competence in partnering with Finance to assess financial impacts and critically evaluate assumptions.

• Experience coordinating with Transactions, Workplace/Occupancy Planning, Facilities Management, Finance, Design & Construction, and Physical Security teams.

• Skills in overseeing portfolio reporting, trend analysis, critical timelines, and portfolio opportunities.

• Ability to maintain decision logs, action trackers, and risk/dependency registers.

• Aptitude for enhancing processes and utilizing technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools for strategic decision support.
