This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Formulate and implement growth strategies for territory and specialty in Hemostasis (Coagulation).
• Focus on enterprise accounts, devise competitive conversion strategies, enhance installed base and portfolio penetration, and strategize for multi-year revenue growth.
• Manage intricate sales cycles that encompass executive discovery, stakeholder mapping, business-case formulation, competitive positioning, contract strategy development, negotiation support, close planning, and alignment for implementation.
• Foster executive sponsorship and establish trusted-advisor relationships with C-suite executives, laboratory, clinical, procurement, operations, IT, finance, and health system leaders.
• Develop integrated automation and informatics value propositions connected to Siemens Healthineers equipment.
• Coordinate matrixed team-selling efforts across Diagnostics Sales, Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Scientific Affairs, Technical Applications, Informatics, Service, Finance, Contracting, and implementation teams.
• Oversee commercial execution, including funnel management, opportunity risk assessment, forecast accuracy, CRM governance, strategic account planning, business reviews, and addressing growth barriers.
• Act as the regional expert in Hemostasis (Coagulation).
• Shape strategic initiatives, assist with launch readiness, enhance competitive intelligence, and influence priorities for specialty portfolio growth.
• Measure customer impact in terms of operational efficiency, labor utilization, standardization, analyzer productivity, assay consolidation, cost-to-serve, revenue potential, risk mitigation, and total ownership value.
• Create executive-level growth plans aimed at increasing market share, safeguarding at-risk business, building referenceable customers, enhancing loyalty, and achieving measurable commercial, operational, and clinical outcomes.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive sales experience in clinical diagnostics, laboratory solutions, medical devices, hospital sales, healthcare systems, specialty diagnostics, strategic accounts, or corporate account management is preferred.
• Proven success in leading enterprise-level sales engagements across hospital systems, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), reference laboratories, academic medical centers, and corporate accounts.
• Capacity to influence executive, operational, clinical, IT, laboratory, finance, and procurement stakeholders.
• Extensive commercial knowledge in capital equipment, automation, informatics, reagents, consumables, and connected diagnostic solutions.
• Direct experience in Hemostasis (Coagulation) is strongly preferred; experience in hematology, plasma protein, or broader laboratory diagnostics is valued.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is essential.
• Experience with Miller Heiman is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% is required.
• Advanced capability to lead without direct authority and foster accountability across complex, matrixed commercial pursuits.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and consultative selling abilities.
• Proficiency in translating hemostasis science, laboratory workflow, automation, informatics, and financial impacts into distinct business value.
• A track record of surpassing growth targets, increasing market share, displacing competitors, and advancing strategic opportunities.
• Computer proficiency including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and fulfill travel requirements.
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence is mandatory.
• No prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other severe moving violations, unless restricted by state/local law.
