This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +2 more states.
• Manage a substantial volume of incoming calls related to healthcare.
• Provide assistance to members and healthcare providers regarding claims status, eligibility, benefits, and general inquiries about healthcare.
• Efficiently navigate various computer systems and applications simultaneously.
• Utilize Avaya and other necessary call-handling systems as needed.
• Deliver accurate, professional, and empathetic customer service.
• Accurately and thoroughly document customer interactions.
• Achieve established performance and quality metrics within the call center.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and attendance standards.
• Engage fully in a virtual training program with camera on.
• Maintain active participation and involvement throughout training and working hours.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience is necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong abilities in computer navigation and multitasking are required.
• Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities are needed.
• A professional demeanor with exceptional attendance and punctuality is expected.
• Must be comfortable working on camera during training and as necessary.
• A quiet, professional, and distraction-free home workspace is required.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection is mandatory.
• Flexibility to work any required 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including the 11:30 AM–8:00 PM shift.
• Local candidates from Pittsburgh, PA; Wilmington, DE; Camp Hill, PA; or Parkersburg, WV are preferred.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of the relevant office location.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or health insurance call center is preferred.
• Experience addressing member or provider inquiries is advantageous.
• Prior high-volume call center experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is beneficial.
• Experience using multiple applications and systems simultaneously is preferred.
• Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are strongly encouraged to apply.
• A $250 Training Completion Bonus awarded upon successful completion of training and meeting attendance and performance criteria.
