Health Coordinator, RN – Bilingual, Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the CDC INFO national contact center by delivering science-based health information to the public, healthcare providers, and public health professionals.

• Respond to advanced clinical inquiries both verbally and in writing.

• Provide expertise in medical subjects.

• Conduct advanced searches in databases.

• Create documents, reports, and official correspondence.

• Record all incoming inquiries systematically.

• Engage in special projects as needed.

• Adhere to established scripts and protocols, utilize approved resources, and uphold quality and compliance standards.

• Offer customer service through phone, email, and chat.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a current, active RN license are mandatory.

• Proficiency in English and a specified secondary language is essential.

• Background in a medical, scientific, or public health field.

• Clinical knowledge and experience with CDC-related topics is required.

• Strong internet search abilities.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and capacity to learn and use various software applications.

• Outstanding listening, comprehension, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

• Capability to work autonomously and communicate effectively.

• Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficiency in speaking and reading English and Spanish clearly, professionally, and fluently.

• Experience in Call Center or Telehealth settings is preferred.

• Must possess a smartphone for accessing Maximus systems.

• Required to have a personal computer, webcam, and headset with a microphone.

• Tablets, iPads, and Chromebooks are not allowed.

• Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps is required, or 50 Mbps for shared connectivity.

• Minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps is necessary.

• Hard-wired internet connection via Category 5 or 6 Ethernet cable is essential.

• A private and secure workspace with an adequate power source is necessary.

• Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system, or supported Mac operating systems are required.
