📋 Description

• Lead and manage a team of health, safety, and nutrition experts across KinderCare’s childcare facilities.

• Develop and enhance program strategies by utilizing research, performance metrics, and insights from the field.

• Keep abreast of new public health guidelines, safety notifications, product recalls, and disruptions from vendors.

• Identify potential risks and provide prompt guidance to field teams.

• Supervise safety evaluations, inspections, and compliance tasks.

• Ensure conformity with regulatory standards, organizational policies, and third-party validations.

• Collaborate across departments to convert data and emerging trends into actionable policies, training programs, and scalable solutions.

• Enhance risk management efforts and cultivate a culture of safety and wellness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, public health, nutrition, early childhood education, business, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

• At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in health, safety, nutrition, or wellness within a multi-site setting; experience in childcare is preferred.

• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and lead strategic initiatives across various locations.

• Extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety, nutrition, and workplace regulations.

• Expertise in risk management and compliance.

• Demonstrated capability to leverage data and research to inform decision-making.

• Strong project management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet is preferred.
