Head of Sales – Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the complete sales department for Buenro as the inaugural senior sales leader.

• Formulate the sales strategy targeting event curators in music, conferences, and sports.

• Identify potential curators, prioritize opportunities, and qualify deals effectively.

• Generate outbound leads utilizing AI, CRM, and automation tools while ensuring personalized engagement.

• Create and manage an ambassador network within the festival and events sector.

• Expand network, referral, and inbound sales pathways.

• Collaborate with the Brand & Marketing Lead across all sales interactions.

• Manage the entire sales process from initial discussions to pitch, negotiation, and contract signing.

• Sell exclusive multi-year partnerships and engage curators prior to the expiration of existing contracts.

• Work closely with the COO on contractual agreements and commitments.

• Ensure that signed curators successfully launch, expand, renew, and refer others.

• Coordinate with the product team on tailored features and launch schedules.

• Supervise concierge operations to ensure accommodation availability for each event.

• Develop scalable processes for supply and accommodation partnerships.

• Master CRM and pipeline tools while creating a repeatable sales playbook.

• Report on pipeline status, meetings, insights, and performance to the CEO and COO.

• Analyze obstacles, evaluate hiring needs, and recruit and lead the sales team.

• Within the first 90 days, assess the pipeline, meet with ambassadors and curators, establish outbound strategies, and finalize the first three curator partnerships.


⛳️ Requirements

• Deep understanding of the festival and events landscape, with comfort in navigating those environments.

• Outstanding networking skills and access to event founders via personal connections and warm introductions.

• Proven experience in selling B2B partnerships with lengthy sales cycles and multi-year contracts.

• Experience in building and managing sales teams.

• Capability to personally execute sales tasks before scaling a team.

• Experience in conducting outbound sales at scale while maintaining a personal touch.

• Proficient in AI and CRM tools.

• Strong numerical acumen and pipeline management abilities.

• Assertive, straightforward, and relationship-focused approach.

• Capacity to cultivate trust with curators.

• Nice to have: Recognized name within the festival or events community.

• Nice to have: Experience selling in high-end or curated event markets.

• Nice to have: Background in a ticketing platform or event-tech company.

• Additional languages are a plus.
