This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.
• Directly report to the Commercial Director.
• Oversee Taylor & Francis sales operations in Indonesia.
• Propel revenue growth and enhance market presence across academic journals, books, eBooks, and digital content.
• Achieve revenue and profit goals while establishing the strategic direction for territory operations.
• Meet the annual sales target for Indonesia and sustain momentum towards the three-year plan.
• Create a business plan for the territory spanning 1–3 years in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to tap into new markets, maximize revenue, increase market share, and expand into new areas.
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing sales scalability and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for business development and market expansion.
• Represent the organization externally through engagement in working groups and networks.
• Build and guide a sales team focused on operational efficiency, revenue growth, and profitability.
• Monitor and evaluate sales performance, addressing gaps with actionable insights.
• Develop and track sales KPIs, employing data-driven strategies for resource allocation.
• Accelerate sales velocity and ensure timely closure of deals.
• Report on sales progress and business conditions to key stakeholders.
• Mentor sales colleagues while ensuring alignment with revenue and market-share objectives.
• Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage team resources and organizational structure.
• Conduct regular one-on-one reviews, provide constructive feedback, and address challenges.
• Enhance team capabilities through delegation, coaching, and performance management.
• Build relationships with institutions, market segments, and government entities.
• Represent the organization in critical discussions, partnerships, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to enhance territory coverage.
• Acquire new accounts while strengthening existing relationships.
• Implement strategic projects aimed at improving sales quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliant execution of sales operations to safeguard profitability and business value.
• Utilize data and analytics for informed decision-making and optimal resource allocation.
• Undertake additional ad hoc tasks as required.
• Travel frequently to meet customers across Indonesia.
• Proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Extensive experience in a sales environment.
• Experience in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Proven history of driving results through effective delegation, coaching, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success in managing high-pressure sales environments and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
• In-depth knowledge of the academic publishing sector or the trade in eBooks and journals.
• Familiarity with essential business models and industry stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to implement growth strategies in competitive markets.
• Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing data to enhance sales performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the territory, as well as attend conferences and book fairs.
• Capacity to influence and drive results effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
• Positive and adaptable attitude.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively, recognizing when to delegate tasks.
• Collaborative leadership approach with experience in building cross-functional relationships.

• Must possess the right to work and reside in Indonesia.
