This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take full ownership of the recruiting process from start to finish for both internal and client-facing positions.
• Establish hiring strategies, priorities, and execution plans that align with the organization's objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership to predict hiring requirements and timelines.
• Set benchmarks for candidate quality, speed, and hiring consistency across Latin American talent markets.
• Personally identify and secure crucial roles in executive, marketing, technical, and operations sectors, with an emphasis on LatAm talent.
• Develop and sustain high-quality talent pipelines for remote positions across Latin America.
• Utilize outbound sourcing, referrals, regional job boards, and innovative LatAm-specific sourcing tactics.
• Conduct interviews, assist stakeholders, and facilitate the offer process until closure.
• Create and enhance recruiting workflows, scorecards, and hiring playbooks.
• Implement and optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
• Ensure a uniform candidate experience across all interactions.
• Monitor recruiting metrics including pipeline health, hiring timeframes, and quality indicators.
• Oversee or mentor recruiters and sourcers as the team expands.
• Apply BPO-style discipline where beneficial without compromising the agility of a startup.
• Hold recruiting partners accountable for quality and performance metrics.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or staffing leadership.
• Residing in Latin America with extensive, up-to-date knowledge of the LatAm remote talent landscape.
• Demonstrated experience in hiring for remote roles across various functions from Latin America.
• Familiarity with startup environments and the ability to thrive in rapidly changing, ambiguous situations.
• Strong sourcing skills and a willingness to remain hands-on.
• Confident communication abilities and capacity to collaborate with leadership and influence hiring choices.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.
• Experience in BPO, agency, or high-volume recruiting settings in LatAm is a notable plus, but not required.
• Experience in building recruiting teams or functions from the ground up is an asset.
• An extensive network of LatAm talent is a welcomed addition.
• Strong analytical skills related to funnels, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring results are beneficial.
• Background in sourcing across multiple LatAm countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, or Chile, is advantageous.
• Experience in placing LatAm talent with US-based clients or employers is a plus.
• An updated resume is necessary for application.
• A short Loom video, lasting 1 to 2 minutes, is required; only candidates who provide a Loom video will advance to the next stage of the hiring process.
• Availability during US business hours is essential.
• Compensation in USD, paid bi-monthly on the 15th and 30th.
