This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Take ownership of the growth strategy for US patient access across independent primary care, IPAs, health systems, specialty networks, EMR partners, payers, and pharmacy networks.
• Personally manage and secure the most critical, high-value relationships with providers and health systems.
• Develop the commercial model for provider partnerships, including terms, incentives, and contracting strategies, collaborating with legal and finance teams.
• Build, recruit, and lead the provider partnerships team as the US network expands.
• Establish targets, processes, and playbooks for the provider partnerships function.
• Present the provider growth strategy and its performance to the executive team and board members.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure provider experiences align with commitments to life science customers and to guide product strategy.
• Represent uMed at senior industry forums, conferences, and associations to enhance the credibility of the US brand and develop the pipeline.
• Manage network growth reporting and forecasting, covering signed practices, represented patients, time-to-live, and network health.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO.
• Over 7 years of experience in healthcare business development and provider/health system partnerships, with substantial ownership of a partnerships or network growth function.
• Proven track record of establishing complex, trust-based partnerships with physicians, practice leadership, health system executives, and third-party vendors such as EMR systems.
• Comfortable operating at a strategic board/executive level while also being hands-on in execution, personally leading key deals.
• In-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape and the motivations of providers.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, including expertise in structuring deals and contracting.
• Executive presence that commands credibility in front of a board, CEO, or health system C-suite.
