Head of Product – Personal Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Personal Banking from start to finish, encompassing product strategy, team leadership, growth, engagement, and business performance.

• Create a personal banking experience that integrates money management, banking services, savings, investments, money transfers, and future lending options.

• Manage metrics, product strategy, and customer value propositions.

• Establish a high standard in product craftsmanship, focusing on copy, latency, and user experience during inactive states.

• Promote the adoption of AI in ways that significantly enhance the product experience.

• Recruit and guide a high-performing product management team.

• Foster a culture of discipline in development, nurture future leaders, and establish an operational rhythm focused on speed and quality.

• Oversee acquisition, activation, retention, and growth strategies.

• Integrate Personal Banking services with the existing businesses that Mercury supports.

• Ensure uptime, accuracy, latency, and support outcomes are maintained.

• Coordinate product, engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, legal, marketing, support, and partnerships to create a unified strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience building consumer products utilized by millions.

• Proven track record of launching AI-driven products to real users.

• Customer-focused, data-oriented, and experimentation-driven mindset.

• Over 10 years of experience in developing consumer products, including responsibility for product growth and financial performance.

• More than 5 years of experience leading product managers, which includes hiring, coaching, organizational design, and performance management.

• Background in launching and scaling 0-1 products while managing a large product with actual customers.

• Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills across engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, and partnerships.

• Strong judgment in regulated environments.

• Experience in banking, payments, or fintech is a plus.

• Must reside in the United States or Canada to qualify for the applicable employee salary range.
