Head of Product – Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of customers and their requirements, both qualitatively and quantitatively.

• Take ownership of the product roadmap and oversee engineering execution across Sealed’s offerings.

• Lead and develop a small team of engineers and product developers.

• Experiment with product features and strategies for market introduction.

• Analyze data and make real-time adjustments.

• Collaborate with various departments to enhance the overall customer experience.

• Work closely with the revenue team to create tools that transform their workflows.

• Help delineate the boundaries between product and services as the company expands.

• Integrate AI into both the development processes and the products created.

• Report directly to the CEO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product and engineering, ideally as an engineer transitioning to PM or as an engineering leader with a strong focus on product.

• Proven experience in managing teams.

• A profound respect for engineering as a discipline.

• A history of close collaboration with sales and revenue teams.

• A strong enthusiasm for AI and practical experience in its application.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Proficient in data analysis and utilizing it for informed product decision-making.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, engineering, and various stakeholders.

• Proven leadership abilities and a proactive approach.

• Preferred: Experience in managing other managers.

• Preferred: Interest in or passion for electrification.

• Preferred: Familiarity with or interest in building construction and the physical environment.

• Preferred: Experience with products in their relatively early development stages.
