Head of Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations in the initial month, encompassing cadences, verification, and problem-solving.

• Deliver the first functional outputs within the first week.

• Record operational processes and start making strategic decisions in the second month.

• Create the operational framework.

• Finalize process architecture and documentation adequately to delegate much of the daily responsibilities to a successor.

• Recruit and transfer responsibilities to a new Operations Manager.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams for the development of new physical and connected products.

• Establish the company's operational system, including KPIs, dashboards, a single source of truth, and accountability schedules.

• Oversee cash flow throughout the seasonal cycle.

• Direct strategic projects, manage reputation, and handle legal operations.

• Develop the operations organization as the company expands.

• Work directly with the founder on a daily basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building from the ground up: P&Ls created from scratch, dashboards that teams actively utilized, and processes that continued to function independently.

• Strong financial acumen: P&L management, working capital, and cash conversion.

• Have automated or transitioned out of your own role at least once, leading to career advancement.

• Ability to think strategically while remaining willing to execute plans.

• Operational experience in a physical product or e-commerce company at a significant scale.

• Willingness to engage in hands-on operations, including routine tasks, during the initial 90 days.

• Full availability from November 10 to December 15, without time off during this peak period.
