Associate Director, Field Medical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Enhance and elevate the Field Medical organization by optimizing processes, implementing operational governance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee Field Medical effectiveness audits, insights evaluations, and provide recommendations for Field Medical Leadership.

• Direct cross-functional workstreams that support CRM systems, reporting/analytics, and operational enhancements.

• Collect requirements, outline project scopes, establish strategic goals and objectives, and craft project execution plans with defined milestones and metrics.

• Create governance frameworks for needs assessments, issue resolution, and the prioritization of system enhancements.

• Collaborate with Medical, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Analytics, IT, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Facilitate the resolution of inter-departmental and functional issues.

• Integrate field medical insights and business requirements into tools, reporting capabilities, and operational enhancements.

• Assist in Medical training and formulate communication and support strategies for the adoption of field medical tools and resources.

• Offer recommendations and solutions to improve field medical reporting, communications, meetings, and the effectiveness of the MSL team.

• Engage in weekly/monthly Field Medical Leadership meetings, providing operational support and strategic input.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

• Prior experience in project management is preferred.

• Proven ability to manage interactions with cross-functional teams, client groups, and key stakeholders both internally and externally.

• Hands-on experience with data analytics, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated success in a previous role.

• Preferred familiarity with CRM platforms and business intelligence/reporting tools such as Veeva CRM, Power BI, and Tableau.
