Head of Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Tern's brand and global demand generation efforts.

• Develop messaging that effectively communicates Tern's value to advisors, suppliers, and investors.

• Identify and share advisor stories that highlight business impact.

• Create a demand generation engine for advisors and agencies through content, PR, digital initiatives, and events.

• Establish Tern's presence in the hotel and supplier sectors.

• Execute and evaluate marketing experiments on a weekly basis.

• Utilize AI as the primary resource for marketing initiatives.

• Build and manage a small, AI-driven marketing team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive marketing leadership experience across PR, digital, content, and events.

• Proven experience in managing both brand development and demand generation.

• Background in establishing a marketing function within a rapidly growing startup from a limited foundation.

• Practical execution experience, in addition to overseeing others.

• Proficiency in AI-driven marketing execution and in developing AI-based systems and campaigns.

• Ability to articulate complex products and construct category narratives.

• Experience in leading small, high-performing teams.

• Background in travel, hospitality, or supplier-side marketing is advantageous.

• Experience in marketing within a two-sided or producer-led ecosystem is a plus.

• A proven history of enhancing brand equity through events, awards, and public speaking is a bonus.
