This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead marketing efforts for Scope's operations in the US and take charge of the US marketing strategy.
• Oversee integrated brand planning for the US portfolio, which includes OPTASE, Eyetamins, and Optase Life.
• Propel growth in the eyecare professional channel, OTC retail, and on Amazon.
• Cultivate brand loyalty among consumers and eyecare professionals.
• Support the expansion of Scope's national retail presence.
• Manage a remote marketing team in the US and enhance team capabilities.
• Collaborate with US Sales, Commercial, and Medical teams to contribute to market commercial strategies.
• Adapt global brand and innovation strategies to fit US positioning, campaigns, and activations.
• Establish brand and channel priorities while steering towards measurable commercial results.
• Direct Amazon marketing efforts encompassing content, search, and retail media.
• Generate consumer and professional demand through various channels, including content, digital, social, print, events, CRM, and customer-facing programs.
• Back national retail growth through strategic marketing, content, and in-store activations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams on customer plans, sell-in narratives, and promotional initiatives.
• Lead new product launch campaigns in the US through the go-to-market process.
• Develop launch plans for internal sales teams, healthcare professionals, retail, and consumer campaigns.
• Partner with Medical for engaging eyecare professionals and KOLs.
• Set team standards to ensure effective planning, quality, and delivery.
• Manage the US marketing budget and allocate investments towards growth opportunities.
• Evaluate, analyze, and report on marketing performance while acting on insights.
• Represent Scope to customers, eyecare professionals, KOLs, and partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
• Significant relevant industry experience may be accepted in lieu of the required bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience in leading marketing efforts across OTC retail, the HCP or professional channel, and Amazon; experience in all three is essential.
• Expertise in Amazon marketing, including content, search, and retail media, along with a commercial understanding of the channel.
• Experience managing a brand.com or D2C e-commerce channel is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in leading a geographically dispersed, fully remote team.
• A strong history of building teams and developing talent.
• Extensive experience in marketing OTC or consumer health brands to both consumers and healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of eyecare, ophthalmology, or optical fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with smaller, high-growth brands and US national retail accounts is highly valued.
• Over 10 years of marketing experience, including significant time leading multi-disciplinary marketing teams.
• Ability to set strategic direction and contribute to commercial strategies alongside senior leadership.
• Strong planning skills and the ability to anticipate risks.
• Leadership style that aligns with Scope's culture and leadership behaviors.
• Capability to manage and oversee a marketing budget effectively.
• Strong analytical skills utilizing performance data and market insights.
• Meticulous attention to detail and consistently high output standards.
• Comfort working in a regulated industry with substantiated claims and adherence to Medical and Regulatory reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident presentation abilities.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across various functions and with external partners.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the US, with occasional international travel as necessary.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Ideally located in a metropolitan area with a major hub airport.
