This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Create and implement a marketing strategy that aligns with Appsilon's revenue and growth objectives.
• Establish Marketing's role throughout the entire funnel, ensuring a balance between inbound growth and outbound-supporting activities.
• Convert company and Board-level priorities into specific marketing goals, initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
• Spot opportunities to enhance growth, customer acquisition, and marketing efficiency.
• Enhance Appsilon's inbound engine through content, SEO/SEM, events, social media, and other relevant channels.
• Collaborate with Sales on targeted campaigns, such as ABM, specific content development, sales enablement, and co-designed outreach initiatives.
• Formulate a content strategy that encompasses case studies, blog articles, videos, and sales-related materials.
• Establish feedback mechanisms with Sales to boost conversion rates and address customer needs and lost opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen Appsilon's reputation as a specialist consultancy in clinical trial analytics.
• Develop messaging tailored for pharma and life sciences decision-makers while ensuring a connection with technology and open-source communities.
• Define KPIs and benchmarks, using SQL value as the primary measure of success.
• Conduct hypothesis-driven marketing experiments, assess outcomes, and reallocate budgets based on performance metrics.
• Utilize AI for automating reporting and data synthesis, analyzing sales and market signals, and generating insights for campaigns and positioning.
• Lead and nurture a distributed marketing team currently consisting of two specialists.
• Oversee the development of the Marketing function, including team structure, hiring priorities, and engagement with external partners and contractors.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Head of Sales, and Technology Unit Leaders to ensure marketing aligns with business objectives.
• Manage the marketing budget and resource distribution based on anticipated business impact and SQL value.
• Report directly to the CEO.
• A minimum of 6 years in marketing leadership within B2B IT, preferably in an international setting.
• Demonstrated success in managing full-funnel campaigns from strategy and concept to execution, focusing on inbound demand generation and outbound-supporting, sales-aligned initiatives.
• Proven experience in owning or co-owning a pipeline or revenue-related KPI together with Sales.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to transition quickly from strategy to execution and iteration.
• A data-driven mindset with proficiency in numbers, analytics, and performance measurement.
• In-depth understanding of B2B marketing channels and concepts, including content, SEO/SEM, paid campaigns, partnerships, and ABM.
• Experience in a remote-first, international work environment.
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication abilities, along with openness, patience, and emotional intelligence.
• A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Solid understanding of the B2B IT landscape and how technology generates business value.
• Practical experience using AI in daily marketing tasks, especially for reporting, synthesis, market intelligence, and converting sales and market signals into marketing insights.
• A strong sense of ownership regarding team and business outcomes, with the ability to inspire others through clear objectives, visible progress, and measurable successes.
• Experience in marketing a niche or highly specialized product or service, particularly in B2B technology or professional services, is advantageous.
• Experience in environments where marketing and Sales jointly share ownership or influence over pipeline generation is a plus.
• An interest in open source, pharma, or clinical research is a plus.
