This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.
β’ Develop and implement a growth strategy for the UK, US, and EU Nigeria corridors.
β’ Maintain the leading remittance position while transitioning towards a multi-product financial platform in the UK.
β’ Drive customer acquisition at the top of the funnel, capture market share, and expand remittance corridors in the EU and US.
β’ Manage the Nigeria revenue line comprehensively, including take rates, pricing, partnership structures, routing optimization, and revenue targets across various product lines.
β’ Bundle, package, and position financial products in developed markets to enhance customer lifetime value and encourage cross-product adoption.
β’ Build, recruit, and lead teams in growth, partnerships, and operations across multiple markets.
β’ Collaborate with Treasury, Product, Data, Finance, and cross-functional General Managers to eliminate obstacles and ensure dependable infrastructure.
β’ Convert field intelligence and user insights into growth strategies and planning.
β’ Utilize AI tools to refine analysis, validate market growth assumptions, and conduct market evaluations.
β’ Report directly to the VP of Growth, Africa.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in Fintech, Neobanking, or Financial Services, or 6β7 years of substantial experience in cross-border payments, remittances, or multi-product consumer fintech.
β’ Demonstrated history of owning a P&L or revenue line in a fintech organization.
β’ Knowledge of remittance and financial services economics, including take rates.
β’ Experience leading a function or market that spans multiple geographies or corridors at various stages of maturity.
β’ Background in managing marketing or growth budgets ranging from $1β3 million per month with direct accountability for outcomes.
β’ Proficiency in growth and acquisition, pricing and revenue management, partnership development, product positioning, and customer retention.
β’ Capability to lead diverse, distributed teams and foster highly autonomous individuals.
β’ Ability to align Treasury, Product, Data, Finance, and Operations with commercial objectives without formal authority.
β’ Experience in expanding a multi-product financial application beyond its original category (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with the Nigerian diaspora market in the UK, US, or EU (preferred).
β’ Exposure to early-stage market development in the US or continental Europe alongside a well-established home market (preferred).
