This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the distribution partnership strategy for financial institutions, covering everything from partner identification and prospecting to contract execution and long-term relationship management.
• Develop and oversee the partner pipeline from initial outreach to contract finalization.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain executive-level relationships within targeted financial institutions.
• Represent Everly at industry events to enhance brand visibility and expand networking opportunities.
• Identify and establish supporting roles and team structures as the business expands.
• Define roles, workflows, and performance benchmarks for new functions.
• Act as a player-coach, leading partner relationship management and onboarding initiatives.
• Manage the complete partner onboarding experience from start to finish.
• Create and continuously improve onboarding playbooks, training resources, and launch checklists.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, underwriting, compliance, and operations teams.
• Track early partner performance and resolve activation challenges.
• Address onboarding and post-launch activation issues proactively.
• Serve as an internal advocate for distribution partners by conveying their needs, feedback, and market insights.
• Collaborate with marketing on co-branded materials and enablement tools.
• Work with product teams to develop and tailor distributor solutions.
• Partner with underwriting and compliance teams to meet regulatory and product requirements.
• Report on pipeline health, milestones, and channel performance to senior leadership.
• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
• An MBA is strongly preferred.
• Over 12 years of experience in business development, distribution, or partnerships within the life/annuity sector.
• Proven experience managing a channel or book of business.
• Demonstrated success in signing and activating distribution partners within financial institutions.
• Experience in building or managing sales support teams or insurance desks.
• A strong existing network within financial institutions, spanning executive, product, distribution, marketing, and operations functions.
• In-depth knowledge of life and annuity products.
• Outstanding relationship-building and negotiation skills, from C-suite executives to operational staff.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
