Head of Engineering – Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define Zencore’s overarching technology strategy, establish solution architecture standards, and innovate the roadmap for cloud, data engineering, and agentic AI.

• Propel the advancement of Zencore’s proprietary assets and replicable service frameworks.

• Act as Zencore’s primary technical representative at ecosystem events, through whitepapers, and in collaboration with Google Cloud go-to-market, product, and engineering teams.

• Scale and manage an agile, multi-regional delivery structure across North America, LATAM, and EMEA.

• Ensure efficient cross-geographic resource allocation and delivery consistency.

• Implement quality gates, RAID management, and project health evaluations to guarantee engagements meet timelines, budgetary constraints, and exceed SOW expectations.

• Function as the executive delivery sponsor for key enterprise accounts.

• Collaborate with sales leadership on intricate enterprise pursuits, shaping architectures, defining SOWs, leading technical presentations, and turning opportunities into revenue.

• Cultivate relationships with Google Cloud Account Directors, Regional Directors, and PSO leadership to position Zencore as a preferred co-sell partner.

• Encourage organic account growth by integrating discovery into ongoing delivery and expanding projects into long-term AI and managed service engagements.

• Assume the role of the principal architect of Zencore’s technology vision and operational leader accountable for scaling global delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in leading complex technology programs.

• More than 7 years in an engineering leadership position within a professional services firm, systems integrator, or cloud consultancy.

• Hands-on technical expertise and strong architectural credibility in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), modern data platforms, and enterprise AI/GenAI implementations.

• Responsibility for professional services revenues, billable utilization, gross margin optimization, blended rate card management, and management of delivery risks.

• Proven experience in navigating cloud partner ecosystems, co-selling alongside field sales teams, and utilizing partner incentive programs such as Google RAMP/MDF.

• Direct experience in building and leading remote, distributed delivery organizations across onshore, nearshore, and offshore regions, including the US, LATAM, and EMEA.

• Capability to engage with C-suite executives as a trusted advisor and articulate complex technical decisions into understandable business outcomes.

• Preferred: Previous leadership experience at Google Cloud, a Premier Google Cloud Partner, or an enterprise Systems Integrator.

• Preferred: Active Google Cloud Certifications, such as Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or AI/ML Specialist.

• Preferred: Experience navigating Private Equity governance, reporting, and value-creation milestones.
