This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Lead and organize a developing contract management function.

• Supervise a team of contract managers and manage around 300 contracts.

• Implement contract management tools and methodologies throughout internal teams.

• Set up and track contract performance indicators.

• Provide consistent reporting to regional directors.

• Identify contractual, operational, and financial risks and opportunities during the project phase.

• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations during the operations phase.

• Recognize and disseminate lessons learned.

• Develop and execute negotiation strategies, facilitating sessions with clients and contracting authorities.

• Co-facilitate contract reviews and assist bid response teams.

• Represent EFFIA in interactions with SNCF and lead quarterly steering committee meetings.

• Generate quarterly financial reports.

• Act as the primary internal contact for contractual matters.

• Lead, nurture, and mentor the three contract managers.

• Enhance contract management processes and tools.

• Promote understanding and training of EFFIA teams in contract management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree (business school, engineering school, or Master’s degree in Economics/Finance, etc.).

• A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in managing complex contracts and leading teams, or overseeing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience in public service concessions or public-private partnerships is an advantage.

• Excellent knowledge of corporate and/or project finance.

• Strong grasp of contractual mechanisms, including amendments, penalties, guarantees, and risk management.

• Solid understanding of the technical, operational, and financial dimensions of project management.

• Proven leadership skills, strong stakeholder management, political savvy, and the ability to engage multidisciplinary teams.

• Self-driven, proactive, possessing strong negotiation skills and active listening capabilities.

• Exceptional written communication skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
