Head of Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive thought leadership in the areas of AI and digital engineering consulting.

• Provide insights to clients, at industry conferences, and within the organization.

• Engage in client discussions at the onset to help define ambiguous challenges.

• Collaborate on solutions and craft proposals with innovative contributions.

• Personally oversee complex or high-stakes opportunities while mentoring team members throughout the deal lifecycle.

• Work closely with the Solutions Consulting team, which operates independently under the CEO.

• Mentor the consulting team and cultivate early-career hires into self-sufficient consultants.

• Take part in recruitment decisions based on organizational requirements.

• Assess and enhance practice health and team dynamics.

• Report directly to the COO, who is responsible for delivery.

• Aim to increase the proportion of revenue linked to AI and/or outcome-based pricing.

• Establish a management layer within the consulting team, which comprises approximately 30 members.

• Play a role in designing the team bonus plan and aligning incentives.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

• Possess a contemporary perspective on trends in AI and digital engineering.

• Established credibility to lead discussions with clients and represent the company externally.

• Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders, ranging from mid-market leaders to Fortune 50 executives.

• Experience in structuring deals and addressing ambiguous client challenges.

• A genuine passion for teaching and developing others while actively working on live deals.

• Operational proficiency in hiring processes, team structure, and practice health.

• Enthusiasm for exploring, adopting, and promoting AI tools and methodologies.

• Background in AI or a demonstrable ability to quickly learn and mentor others on emerging technologies.

• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% as needed.
