This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the integrated communications strategy and narrative for World Foundation, World Chain, and the wider World ecosystem.
• Establish a robust presence across crypto-focused channels, particularly X.com, while also supporting broader media and public communications.
• Ensure that World Foundation actively participates in discussions surrounding AI, Web3, digital identity, privacy, and emerging technologies.
• Identify key AI and Web3 conferences, events, and communities to guarantee Foundation representation.
• Foster relationships with developers, builders, researchers, investors, founders, opinion leaders, media, and ecosystem partners.
• Simplify complex technical, governance, and ecosystem topics into clear communications tailored for various audiences.
• Collaborate with Tools for Humanity’s communications and marketing teams to align messaging and represent the Foundation’s viewpoint.
• Oversee the Events Manager and Grants Specialist, and lead external communications, community, and growth agencies and contractors where appropriate.
• Support the Foundation’s grants and ecosystem strategy by identifying high-impact partners and opportunities.
• Travel frequently to cultivate relationships and represent World at pertinent events.
• Extensive experience in strategic communications, community engagement, ecosystem development, media, or a related role, preferably within the crypto, AI, technology, or open source sectors.
• Deep understanding of Web3 and AI communities, including leading companies, researchers, founders, conferences, and industry discussions.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven experience in engaging with technical audiences, including developers, founders, investors, media, and opinion leaders.
• Background in managing teams and overseeing communications, community, or growth agencies and contractors.
• Ability to cultivate trusted relationships and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to travel approximately 20–25% of the time.
• Must be located in the CET or ET time zones.
• Experience with grants, ecosystem development, partnerships, or community programs is a plus.
• Existing connections within AI, crypto, developer, research, media, and technology communities are advantageous.
• Frequent travel opportunities to relevant AI and Web3 conferences, events, and communities.
