This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of employer partnerships within designated communities.
• Promote awareness of the ACT WorkKeys NCRC and encourage the use of WorkKeys workforce tools.
• Cultivate relationships with chambers of commerce and economic development entities.
• Position WRC certification as a valuable asset for workforce and talent attraction.
• Manage a portfolio of Work Ready Communities and monitor certification advancements.
• Identify opportunities for progress and initiate actions to propel communities forward.
• Foster the growth of WorkKeys curriculum licenses, assessments, and credentials.
• Collaborate with ACT Sales for contract management and execution.
• Connect communities with federal and state workforce funding resources.
• Facilitate collaborations among employers, training providers, workforce boards, and educational partners.
• Maintain records in the CRM pipeline.
• Provide regular updates on employer acquisition, community progress, and product expansion.
• Oversee the onboarding of the WRC six-level framework and WorkKeys product suite.
• Build relationships with community and chamber partners and develop employer outreach strategies.
• Drive employer recognitions, discussions on WorkKeys curriculum licenses, product revenue, and community certification progress.
• Operate independently across the portfolio while contributing to broader WRC strategic objectives.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or economic development with proven growth results.
• Experience managing a portfolio of accounts or partnerships with communities or government entities.
• Proven track record in selling or promoting workforce, education, or credentialing solutions to employers or workforce organizations.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and strong habits in pipeline management.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences at all organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% within the assigned region.
• Preference for candidates located in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Colorado.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economic Development, Workforce Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
• A Master's degree in business, economic development, workforce development, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with federal workforce funding programs such as WIOA or Perkins is preferred.
• Experience engaging with chambers of commerce, economic development corporations, or workforce investment boards is preferred.
• Background in consultative or solution selling within a B2B or government-related context is preferred.
• Familiarity with ACT WorkKeys products and the NCRC credentialing system is preferred.
• Final candidates will undergo a criminal background check.
• Completion of the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is recommended.
