This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Act as the execution partner to the GVP and President of Advanced Imaging Solutions.
• Set focus, alignment, accountability, and ensure follow-through on key priorities.
• Lead and continually enhance leadership cadence, staff meetings, operating reviews, strategic priority assessments, and business forums.
• Convert priorities into operational mechanisms, decision rights, ownership, milestones, resources, risks, and measurable outcomes.
• Direct the Business Operations team and develop standard operating procedures, management information, and capabilities.
• Enhance transparency and decision-making quality through integrated reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of priority execution matters across subsegments, functions, and enterprise partnerships.
• Monitor execution progress and value realization, identify gaps, and facilitate corrective measures.
• Address duplication, friction, competing priorities, resource limitations, unclear ownership, and cross-functional obstacles.
• Collaborate with Strategy & Transformation to incorporate proven capabilities, playbooks, tools, standards, and ownership models into regular operations.
• Oversee the setup and consistent application of AIS Heartbeat.
• Lead and cultivate the AIS Lean function while directing resources toward high-impact initiatives.
• Ensure Lean initiatives have clear charters, baselines, targets, milestones, accountable owners, and benefit metrics.
• Integrate Heartbeat deployment to ensure visibility of priorities, resources, risks, decisions, and benefits to AIS leaders.
• Guarantee that Lean-supported initiatives achieve measurable and sustained improvements in growth, productivity, quality, delivery, customer impact, and financial performance.
• Strengthen Lean capabilities, Heartbeat practices, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Embed proven enhancements into standard operations, management information, leadership cadence, and line ownership.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, typically ranging from 10 to 15+ years, in business operations, general management, finance/P&L leadership, or another key operating function.
• Experience in leading within a complex, global, matrixed business or enterprise setting.
• Proven success in translating priorities into quantifiable business outcomes.
• Experience in establishing and managing executive operating structures, business reviews, strategic forums, governance rhythms, decision processes, dashboards, and action tracking.
• Background in leading or sponsoring Lean practices, continuous improvement, transformation initiatives, or similar performance-enhancement efforts linked to critical business priorities.
• Financial acumen and operational judgment, including the ability to interpret business performance, assess trade-offs, allocate resources, and connect execution to P&L and other quantifiable business results.
• Capability to link operational and improvement activities to measurable growth, productivity, quality, delivery, customer, and financial results.
• Strong executive presence and influence, with the ability to align senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and drive decisions without relying solely on direct authority.
• Exceptional skills in executive communication, facilitation, synthesis, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in structuring ambiguous business challenges, simplifying complexities, clarifying decision rights, and driving sustained action and accountability.
• Willingness and capability to work across global time zones and travel as necessary.
