Guidewire Integration Senior Developer/Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver configuration, integration, and development tasks for insurance transformation projects.

• Implement, enhance, and optimize Guidewire products within client settings.

• Modernize policy, billing, and claims operations for insurance companies.

• Design, configure, and develop solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.

• Establish and maintain integrations with billing providers, document management systems, reinsurance platforms, and external data services.

• Develop and extend Guidewire functionalities using Gosu scripting, configuration, and customizations of the product model.

• Provide support for Guidewire Cloud Platform deployments, manage environments, configure pipelines, and design cloud architecture.

• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate requirements into Guidewire configurations and custom developments.

• Engage in code reviews, unit testing, and the creation of technical documentation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve defects related to configuration, integration, and data layers.

• Facilitate data migration through mapping, validation, and transformation logic.

• Contribute to upgrades and patches by assessing their impact and managing regression risks.

• Enable knowledge transfer and enhance internal capabilities with client technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of overall experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in Guidewire development or implementation.

• Proficient in Gosu scripting, Guidewire configuration, and product model development.

• Experience with at least one of the following: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter in a live implementation or upgrade.

• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON integration patterns.

• Ability to read and contribute to technical design documentation and solution architecture.

• Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively in client-facing delivery teams.

• Experience in cloud API development, including consuming and extending system/composite APIs and API mapping/configuration.

• Development of Integration Gateway routes using Apache Camel and Java, with deployment via CI/CD.

• Knowledge of App Events/webhooks, including outbound event configuration, payload shaping, and consumer handshake.

• Understanding of messaging architecture, including message plugins, transport plugins, retry/error handling, and idempotency.

• Experience with batch and file-based integrations, including inbound/outbound file processing, scheduling, and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with OAuth2, REST/JSON, SOAP/XML; CSIO standard payload exposure is a plus.

• Proficiency in Gosu and Java; knowledge of SQL for data validation and defect analysis.

• Experience in converting legacy Gosu plugins/SOAP services to supported GWCP patterns.

• Ability to perform Cloud Console log analysis and environment promotion through pipelines.

• Guidewire certifications are preferred, including ACE, Associate, Professional, GWCP, Integration, or Digital Portals certifications.
