📋 Description

• Identify, research, and engage potential customers via email, phone, and social media channels.

• Utilize prospecting tools to locate contact details for potential buyers within existing Target Accounts.

• Determine new Target Accounts based on projected suitability.

• Aid in the development of sales enablement and marketing materials.

• Propose innovative strategies and technologies.

• Conduct competitive analysis.

• Keep track of market trends, including executive job transitions, funding rounds, and conferences, to discover opportunities for engaging prospects.

• Act as the voice of the customer internally and provide feedback to leadership regarding product features, pricing, and market trends.

• Promote Canopy Connect’s insurance infrastructure to insurance agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional cold calling skills.

• 6-12 months of experience in a BDR, SDR, or comparable role.

• Proven history of meeting or exceeding meetings-booked quotas.

• Proficiency in, or the ability to independently learn, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Loom, Gong/Chorus, and other marketing automation and sales enablement tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with sales frameworks such as Challenger (bonus).

• Active involvement in sales communities like Pavilion or OnDeck (bonus).

• Experience at a company that sells APIs and/or data (bonus).

• Background in insurance, payments, banking, FinTech, and/or InsurTech (bonus).

• Experience in MarTech or SalesTech (bonus).

• Tenure at a hyper-growth startup that significantly scaled during your time there (bonus).
