This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +4 more states.
• Drive growth by promoting AVEVA’s range of products and services to new and expanding customers.
• Identify and engage potential customers who have not previously utilized AVEVA solutions, acquiring new logos.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing customers to enhance upselling and cross-selling opportunities, thereby increasing ARR.
• Formulate and implement account plans that span from prospecting and lead qualification to deal closure.
• Meet revenue objectives while ensuring accurate forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional resources to bolster account management efforts.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor products to effectively position AVEVA solutions.
• Present sales pitches that address business needs while showcasing AVEVA's technological advantages.
• Proactively address customer concerns in collaboration with internal teams.
• Manage the sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce and the MEDDPICC methodology.
• Engage in regular regional travel and occasional international trips.
• Demonstrated success in direct sales, with the ability to build relationships at all levels within client organizations.
• Experience in selling SaaS or DaaS (Data as a Service) solutions.
• Strong background in business development, particularly in acquiring new clients.
• Proven capability to close intricate software and product agreements while managing the entire sales process.
• Preferred experience in industrial software, engineering software, or automation.
• Familiarity with IT applications in process and automation industries is a plus.
• Proficient in Salesforce and the MEDDPICC sales framework is preferred.
• Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and focused on achieving results.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
• Regular regional travel is required, along with occasional international travel.
• Only candidates located in the Northeastern USA will be considered.
