Growth Strategy Principal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee a range of high-stakes strategy projects with significant impact

• Conduct interviews and facilitate working sessions with leaders in Enterprise Growth and throughout the organization

• Direct teams engaged in industry, market, competitor, and financial analysis

• Extract and refine analytical insights for Humana

• Produce top-quality analyses and deliverables that outline objectives, issues, and challenges

• Present insightful findings and actionable recommendations

• Shape implementation strategies and collaborate with business owners to transition analysis into practical execution

• Work alongside team members, subject matter experts, executive management, and leaders across corporate, functional, and business units

• Integrate strategic options into a unified plan aimed at enhancing growth, profitability, and improving the health and lives of members

• Lead essential meetings, foster consensus among diverse groups, and exercise influence

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with exceptional academic achievements

• 6-8+ years of full-time experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate/business unit strategy, or finance

• Proven leadership capabilities

• Strong problem-solving aptitude

• Competence in conducting complex quantitative and qualitative analyses

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to swiftly build and sustain trust with business leaders

• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented work style

• Proven track record in mentoring and developing junior staff

• Strong dedication to personal and professional growth

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information

• Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds

• Preferred: MBA, MPH, PhD, or a graduate degree in a management discipline

• Preferred: Experience in managed care and/or healthcare services
