Analyst, Corporate Development – Strategic Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain a pipeline of acquisition and partnership prospects through proactive and off-market outreach.

• Conduct cold calls and send cold emails to owners, founders, and executives of target companies.

• Discover opportunities through industry forums, conferences, trade associations, and online communities.

• Monitor every relationship within the pipeline, including their status, next steps, and follow-up schedules.

• Represent PerfectServe at industry events and conferences.

• Guide prospects through the sales funnel and facilitate initial discussions.

• Construct models and analyses for deal evaluation and synergy assessment.

• Assist in commercial, financial, clinical/product, HR, and technology due diligence workstreams.

• Prepare materials for board and investor presentations.

• Manage live-deal operations, including data rooms, trackers, timelines, and coordination of workstreams.

• Maintain organized views of partner and channel relationships.

• Create materials for partner and leadership meetings.

• Aid in the negotiation and documentation of partnership and referral agreements.

• Track and report on partnership performance metrics.

• Collaborate with the CEO, CSO, functional leaders, K1, and external advisors on strategic initiatives and active workstreams.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, sales, business development, or a similar role that involves building relationships and advancing deals or prospects.

• Comfortable with cold outreach, including engaging unfamiliar prospects and converting initial calls into ongoing conversations.

• Strong relationship-building instincts and the ability to establish trust quickly.

• Competitive, persistent, and resilient in approach.

• Solid financial and analytical skills necessary to create a basic model or synthesize due diligence findings.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Resourceful, scrappy, and low-ego mindset.

• High motivation and eagerness to learn about acquisitions and partnerships hands-on.

• Experience or familiarity with healthcare, healthcare IT, or SaaS is advantageous but not mandatory.
