This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of Calm's growth product strategy and roadmap aimed at its direct-to-consumer sector.
• Convert revenue, subscriber, and DAU objectives into prioritized initiatives across activation, conversion, and retention.
• Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests, holdouts, and sequential experiments in collaboration with engineering and data science teams.
• Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to identify and eliminate friction in onboarding, habit formation, and account processes.
• Develop features that assist users in planning, tracking, and celebrating their progress towards daily mindfulness practices.
• Create PRDs that outline the job to be done, opportunities, success metrics, and plans for shipping and iteration.
• Collaborate with engineering, product design, marketing, data, research, and leadership teams.
• Generate measurable impact on top-of-funnel conversion, trial-to-paid transitions, activation, user revenue, and long-term retention.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in growth, product management, or a comparable field.
• 4+ years in consumer product, demonstrating a history of owning a growth metric and developing strategies to enhance it.
• Experience with consumer mobile platforms (iOS and Android) as well as web applications.
• Strong understanding of consumer subscription economics, including trial and paywall conversion, LTV, and churn.
• Proficient in rapid experiment design and analysis, including A/B tests, holdouts, and sequential testing.
• Possess statistical judgment to differentiate genuine results from noise.
• Capability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize roadmaps and make informed feature decisions.
• Familiarity with habit formation principles, including streaks, reminders, progress tracking, and celebration.
• Highly skilled in employing AI tools to enhance team efficiency and develop workflows.
• Comfort in discussing technical complexities and trade-offs with engineering teams.
• Ability to independently prototype ideas.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Nice to have: Experience in subscription-based consumer technology.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of product analytics or experimentation tools like Amplitude.
• Nice to have: Passion for or experience in health and wellness.
• Nice to have: Experience in developing features that promote habit formation and lifestyle changes.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
