Growth Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the social media calendar and its execution with a focus on creating viral content to enhance brand awareness.

• Assist in managing brand collaborations, distribution partnerships, and retailer relationships.

• Establish and maintain automated content frameworks, including templates, brand assets, and brand guidelines, in collaboration with the US brand team.

• Execute email marketing campaigns, manage flows, and drive list growth.

• Create content and facilitate asset requests in coordination with the US creative team.

• Provide support to sales with launch materials, promotional content, and sell-through resources for retail channels.

• Assist online stores and digital marketing initiatives across all available platforms.

• Streamline marketing operations using AI, focusing on content pipelines, scheduling, reporting, and repurposing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in South Africa.

• 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in online brand marketing.

• Proven track record of enhancing brand awareness through social media platforms.

• AI-first perspective with concrete examples of utilizing AI for marketing automation.

• Experience in developing reusable content systems, templates, brand asset libraries, or brand guidelines.

• Skills in email marketing and broader digital marketing execution.

• Creative production experience using tools like Canva, Adobe, or similar software.

• A keen eye for innovative visual aesthetics.

• Strong coordination and communication abilities for managing partner deliverables.

• Excellent written English skills tailored for US consumer and retail audiences.

• Must be reliably available during US East Coast working hours.

• Experience in partnership, collaboration, or influencer marketing is a plus.

• Bonus points for B2B or trade-channel marketing experience related to retail or distribution.

• Experience in CPG or regulated categories is an advantage.

• Familiarity with e-commerce store operations, such as Shopify, is a bonus.

• Skills in short-form video creation and editing are a bonus.
