This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Leadership Team on marketing strategy, positioning, and growth opportunities.
• Develop and oversee the annual marketing plan, set quarterly goals, and manage the marketing budget.
• Lead, manage, and nurture the Marketing Coordinator's professional growth.
• Generate marketing-sourced leads and collaborate with Business Development to convert them into revenue.
• Uphold and promote Workshop Digital’s brand, messaging, and positioning across all channels.
• Drive efforts in content creation, thought leadership, and sales enablement.
• Oversee marketing operations, including CRM, marketing automation, attribution, and reporting.
• Assist with recruitment marketing initiatives.
• Manage the Marketing Coordinator by setting priorities, development goals, conducting one-on-ones, providing feedback, coaching, and ensuring accountability.
• Create and document workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and calendars; enhance processes.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage freelancers and vendors as required.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Client Services, department leaders, and internal subject matter experts.
• Identify ideal client profiles, target industries, and service-line positioning.
• Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategy based on performance results.
• Conduct competitor and target audience research.
• Define processes for lead handoff and develop lead nurturing programs.
• Create materials for sales enablement, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and proposal content.
• Manage website lead-generation assets, landing pages, conversion paths, and optimization efforts.
• Develop case studies and success stories.
• Lead submissions for awards, speaking engagements, events, and webinars; manage public relations efforts and partner marketing.
• Plan, execute, and measure campaigns across LinkedIn, social media channels, email, SEO, paid media, and events.
• Enhance visibility in AI-driven search experiences and answer engines.
• Implement A/B testing and experimentation techniques.
• Execute campaigns for recruitment marketing.
• Manage CRM and marketing automation platforms, oversee lead scoring, list management, and data quality.
• Maintain attribution and tracking systems.
• Report on marketing performance, pipeline, and return on investment (ROI) to the Leadership Team.
• Convert data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws, email consent, and client approval requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging channels, and marketing technology.
• 4+ years of experience in B2B growth marketing, demonstrating a successful track record in driving pipeline and revenue growth.
• Previous experience in agency or professional services marketing is highly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in people management, including coaching, performance evaluations, hiring, and professional development.
• Proven experience in building and managing a marketing plan and budget.
• Strong proficiency in various digital marketing channels, such as SEO, paid media, email, LinkedIn, and content marketing.
• Practical experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and analytics tools (e.g., GA4).
• Familiarity with AI search, answer engine optimization, and utilizing AI tools to enhance marketing workflows.
• Exceptional writing skills, accompanied by a portfolio of work to present.
• Experience in managing freelancers, agencies, or vendors.
• A creative thinker with a data-driven and analytical approach.
• Strong project management abilities, capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas with clarity.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience working in an agile team setting.
• A 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) are advantageous.
