This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while executing strategies to achieve sales targets through consultative selling, problem-solving, and exceptional service.
• Oversee intricate negotiations, effectively positioning products, pricing structures, and an expanded range of offerings to boost sales and enhance revenue.
• Establish and nurture relationships with benefits brokers and consultants within the designated territory.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify profitable growth and cross-selling prospects.
• Organize finalist presentations, sales seminars, client testimonials, and stakeholder presentations.
• Engage in client meetings, including finalist presentations.
• Monitor activities within the company CRM system and consistently update account details.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Humana’s operations, Group products, brokerage connections, and clientele.
• Collaborate with Ancillary Small Group Sales Representatives and Ancillary Client Executives to strengthen broker/client interactions.
• Implement and advocate for new sales initiatives to boost sales of current products and cultivate sales of new offerings.
• Support, mentor, and inspire the market team to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Coordinate with team members and various departments to enhance the sales process.
• Promote the Humana brand within the market through engagements with external organizations and key stakeholders.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and networks to drive business towards Humana.
• Maintain and share expertise on products, industry standards, and emerging market trends.
• Occasionally establish new cases and assist in enrollment activities.
• Proven success in selling group Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability products to companies with 50 or more employees.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Group Insurance sales.
• Experience in developing relationships with brokers and consultants.
• Background in consultative selling and related experience.
• Demonstrated executive presence.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Valid State Health and Life insurance licenses.
• Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.
• Willingness to travel as needed within the territory to meet with brokers, clients, and team members in person.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Position based in the Los Angeles market.
• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
