This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with brokers, agents, and consultants as an expert in Ancillary Group insurance products.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with benefits brokers and consultants to enhance sales and retention of Humana's Group benefit offerings.
• Explore new business opportunities and apply consultative selling techniques.
• Oversee intricate negotiations pertaining to products, pricing levels, and a broader range of product offerings.
• Recognize profitable growth and cross-selling prospects among both new and existing clients.
• Organize finalist presentations, sales seminars, testimonials, and presentations for constituents.
• Engage in constituent meetings, including finalist presentations.
• Monitor activities and maintain account details within the company's CRM system.
• Acquire knowledge in Humana's operations, Group products, industry dynamics, and emerging market trends.
• Work in conjunction with Ancillary Small Group Sales Representatives and Ancillary Client Executives.
• Execute new sales initiatives and bolster the sales of both existing and new products.
• Guide, mentor, and inspire the market team.
• Collaborate with team members and various departments to enhance sales efforts.
• Strengthen Humana's brand presence in the market through engagement with external organizations and key stakeholders.
• Identify and cultivate strategic market partnerships to drive business towards Humana.
• Occasionally establish new cases and take part in enrollment activities.
• Proven success in selling group Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability products to employers with 50 or more employees.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Group Insurance sales.
• Preferred 5+ years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience in fostering relationships with brokers and consultants.
• Background in consultative selling and relevant experience.
• Strong executive presence.
• Sound business and financial acumen.
• Valid State Health and Life insurance licenses.
• Current state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the territory to meet with brokers, clients, and team members in person.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum home internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
