Group Sales Manager – Travel Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a growth strategy for the territory that emphasizes affinity and group travel partnerships.

• Identify, prospect, and secure new organizational collaborators.

• Cultivate long-term relationships with group leaders, decision-makers, and program coordinators.

• Deliver presentations and informational sessions for potential partners and travelers.

• Work in conjunction with partners to effectively market and promote travel programs.

• Frequently travel within the territory to meet with clients, attend events, and enhance partnerships.

• Focus on targeting alumni and educational associations, community and civic organizations, financial institutions and banks, media companies and newspapers, senior travel clubs, special-interest groups, as well as travel agencies and tour-related businesses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in business development, outside sales, or relationship-based selling within the travel sector.

• Experience in selling to affinity groups is highly preferred.

• Excellent networking, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while managing a sales territory.

• Comfortable addressing groups and establishing credibility with stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region, including overnight travel approximately 2–3 nights per week.

• Must reside in the United States, specifically within the territory covered in Georgia.

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
