Group Program Manager, Enterprise PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage the operating model for the Enterprise PMO, encompassing intake processes, governance frameworks, tools, and reporting standards.

• Establish and uphold business case standards for portfolio initiatives.

• Create a unified system of record for Product and PMO activities.

• Oversee portfolio reporting and ensure data quality.

• Identify systemic execution and delivery risks across Engineering, Credit, Fraud, Analytics, Sales, and Marketing, along with actionable plans.

• Establish a cadence for delivery risk management and coordinate cross-functional dependencies.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics on quarterly initiative roadmaps and evaluate sequencing trade-offs.

• Manage quarterly resource planning and maintain visibility of resources across Engineering and Analytics portfolios.

• Lead steering committee meetings and oversee the portfolio review process.

• Monitor initiative-level budgets and track benefits realization throughout the portfolio.

• Work alongside Finance to ensure visibility of portfolio-level spending and provide insights on costs, benefits, and risks for the monthly portfolio report.

• Mentor, coach, and develop project managers while establishing career pathways within the PMO.

• Utilize AI to streamline Product Operations workflows, including timeline mapping, risk assessment, sequencing, and task delegation.

• Collaborate directly with the VP of Product to lead the PMO team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in program or portfolio management.

• Minimum of 3 years in a senior role within fintech, financial services, or a similarly complex setting.

• Proven experience in managing the commercial narrative for a portfolio.

• Successful track record of developing the "so what" narrative for C-suite executives instead of merely providing status updates.

• Strong expertise in identifying delivery risks across various business functions.

• Established executive presence with CTO, CFO, or capital markets partner audiences.

• Experience in designing, implementing, or refining a PMO operating model, intake frameworks, governance, and reporting standards in a growth-stage organization.

• Solid financial acumen, including budget management, understanding cost of delay, and framing ROI.

• Demonstrated success in talent development, overseeing senior practitioners, and creating clear growth trajectories.

• Experience in lending, payments, or broader financial services is highly preferred.
