This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead and nurture a global team tasked with market development, customer engagement, and growth initiatives.
• Foster customer relationships to gain insights into business challenges, technology roadmaps, application requirements, and market opportunities.
• Spearhead Voice of Customer initiatives, transforming insights into product strategies, portfolio investments, and priorities for new product development.
• Identify market gaps, whitespace opportunities, adjacent markets, and emerging technology trends.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Technology, and Project Management to create application-driven solutions.
• Formulate and implement market strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance market share, ensure profitability, and achieve long-term goals.
• Offer strategic insights into competitive dynamics, industry trends, and growth prospects for designated markets and key accounts.
• Work alongside global Sales Engineers and commercial teams to enhance customer engagement, conduct technical discussions, gather market intelligence, and identify growth opportunities.
• Assist in investment analysis, business case formulation, CAPEX justification, pricing strategies, and portfolio planning.
• Represent Molex in customer presentations, technical seminars, industry events, trade shows, and thought leadership activities.
• Aid in the development of technical and marketing materials for product launches and growth initiatives.
• Travel is expected to be around 20% of the time.
• Over 5 years of experience in Market Development, Product Management, Product Strategy, Business Development, Strategic Marketing, Technical Sales, or a related field.
• Proven experience working directly with customers to discern business, technical, or application needs.
• Experience in influencing cross-functional teams and leading initiatives across both commercial and technical organizations.
• A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Familiarity with connectors, interconnect systems, industrial components, electromechanical products, or related technologies.
• Capability to translate customer and market demands into new product development opportunities and strategies for portfolio growth.
• Knowledge of Voice of Customer methodologies, market segmentation, and opportunity assessment.
• Experience in evaluating competitive landscapes, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Proven track record of leading teams and nurturing talent within technical, product, or market-facing organizations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
