Graduate and Professional Admissions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Calculate and input both overall and university-specific GPAs.

• Assess whether GPA standards are satisfied and verify the receipt of transcripts.

• Evaluate the legitimacy of transcripts and interpret educational systems both internationally and domestically.

• Utilize resources to assess program prerequisites, academic calendars, transfer credits, grading systems, and degree requirements.

• Update checklists and input calculated GPAs into the Student Information System (SIS).

• Provide guidance to prospective applicants regarding courses necessary to meet prerequisites.

• Verify the completion of prerequisites.

• Review and address incoming inquiries from both internal and external sources, resolving advanced procedural questions as needed.

• Link standardized test scores and other relevant materials to applicant records.

• Apply final transcript criteria to applicant records.

• Support documentation efforts, job aids, quality control, process evaluations, and efficiency enhancements.

• Participate in cross-training for Graduate and Professional Admissions functions.

• Achieve or surpass expected production levels while ensuring quality standards.

• Conduct ad-hoc web research, perform Excel/database data entry, engage in general office tasks, and update guides/documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Ability to adapt work schedule during peak periods.

• Final candidates must successfully complete a background check.

• A drug screen or physical examination may be required as part of the post-offer process.
