Grader Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Operate Cat 14M and 16M graders safely and efficiently to achieve production and quality objectives.

• Employ GPS machine control systems to ensure precise grading and site elevations in line with design specifications.

• Execute fine grading tasks for parking lots, roadways, drainage systems, and site development initiatives.

• Carry out pre-trip/walk-around inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.

• Keep heavy equipment in optimal working condition and promptly report any maintenance needs or concerns.

• Interpret site plans, grade stakes, and digital grading models effectively.

• Collaborate and communicate with supervisors, survey crews, and other team members.

• Encourage adherence to company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience operating finish graders on civil construction or site development projects.

• Proven experience utilizing GPS grade control systems (Topcon, Trimble, Leica, or similar).

• Familiarity with performing fine grading for parking lots, roads, commercial developments, or comparable infrastructure projects.

• Ability to read and interpret grading plans, blueprints, and site layouts.

• Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

• Valid CSTS 2020 certification is required.

• Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification is necessary.

• Must pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing successfully.
