Government Grants Specialist, Healthcare Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct research to identify pertinent government grant opportunities in the United States and Canada.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of grant applications, from initial discovery through to submission.

• Draft, compose, and submit high-caliber grant proposals.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect necessary information and documentation.

• Keep precise records of applications, deadlines, and outcomes.

• Monitor and report on the grant pipeline and success rates.

• Ensure adherence to all grant requirements and guidelines.

• Utilize internal systems, including Xero and Pluto, to assist with tracking and reporting.

• Take initiative in managing the grant process, encompassing outreach, application preparation, and submission.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in securing government grants in Canada and/or the United States.

• Proficient writing and proposal development capabilities.

• Exceptional research and organizational skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in the healthcare or healthcare software sector (preferred).

• Familiarity with financial or operational tools such as Xero and Pluto (preferred).

• Background in a remote, fast-paced work environment (preferred).

• Diligent and responsible.

• Proactive self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks.

• Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
