This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the initiatives to establish and enhance the US Government Enterprise framework for Abbott Molecular Diagnostics offerings.
• Oversee strategic relationships with federal government customers, drive new sales, and ensure retention of existing contractual customers.
• Manage strategic accounts and facilitate the sales process to closure for Abbott Molecular Diagnostic products.
• Propel incremental revenue, enhance profitability, foster innovation partnerships, and ensure compliant contracting.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams in sales, marketing, training, commercial operations, strategic pricing, and contracting efforts.
• Cultivate high-level relationships within agency, regional, and healthcare facility contexts.
• Evaluate customer goals, strategies, and needs; propose and implement innovative solutions.
• Formulate account strategies, sales predictions, value propositions, contracts, and multi-year plans.
• Research strategic accounts, industry landscapes, regulatory environments, decision-makers, and influencers.
• Negotiate contracts and drive profitable revenue within key named accounts.
• Coordinate resources and implement strategic account plans with clear roles, timelines, and communication strategies.
• Design, develop, and execute the US Government Enterprise Strategy for the VA HealthCare System, Department of Defense, Indian Health, and Public Health Laboratories.
• Establish US support infrastructure and create financial and strategic business plans.
• Lead cross-divisional initiatives for Government Enterprise Account Management.
• Meet or surpass annual financial targets and ROI goals.
• Manage customer P&L and foster profitable growth to fulfill LRP commitments.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of pertinent experience.
• Demonstrated sales experience at the executive level with a diverse and intricate product line.
• Capability to forge long-term strategic and senior-level relationships.
• Skill in uncovering complex organizational strategies and converting them into successful solutions.
• Proven achievement in value-based and solution-oriented selling.
• Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, public speaking ability, and adaptability to swiftly changing environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal healthcare systems.
• Familiarity with federal contracting mechanisms, including BPA, IDIQ, FSS, and eCAT.
• Significant experience in government solicitation and contracting.
• Willingness to travel 75%, including overnight stays.
