This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the complete government sales process within your designated territory.
• Navigate intricate sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders, lasting over 12 months.
• Foster relationships with legislators, agency leaders, and stakeholders from the executive administration.
• Create territory strategies that align with legislative, budgetary, and electoral cycles.
• Lead responses to RFPs and oversee procurement operations.
• Travel is required for approximately 40% of the time.
• Report to a senior sales executive responsible for multiple territories.
• Expand your responsibilities by taking on additional territories and collaborating directly with the CEO at more senior levels.
• Proven experience in selling to state governments, with a solid understanding of how state agencies procure, budget, and make decisions.
• A demonstrated history of successfully closing deals in complex B2G or enterprise environments.
• Capability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline from initial contact to closing.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, RFP cycles, and legislative dynamics.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align value propositions with political and programmatic priorities.
• Adherence to CRM practices and a commitment to forecasting accuracy.
• Availability to work full-time, 5–6 days a week.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.
• Commission based on performance.
