This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Formulate and implement a sales strategy for K–12 schools and school districts within the designated territory.
• Create new business prospects through outbound efforts, including cold calling, referrals, networking, and lead generation.
• Conduct meetings in person, deliver virtual presentations, make phone calls, and engage in email outreach.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets through effective pipeline management and disciplined execution of sales strategies.
• Identify and address RFPs and competitive bidding opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and partnership agreements effectively.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with school leaders, administrators, and district stakeholders.
• Present and demonstrate Yondr's solutions through engaging presentations.
• Spot referral opportunities and enhance the regional market presence.
• Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline activities, forecasts, and sales documentation within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Implementation, Customer Success, and Account Management teams during onboarding and transitions.
• Engage in sales training, professional development, and product education initiatives.
• Represent Yondr at educational conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
• Carry out additional responsibilities and special projects as required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline development.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license and capability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• A consultative, relationship-driven selling approach.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to build trust and credibility with school administrators and executive decision-makers.
• Strong organizational and time management competencies.
• Self-driven, highly independent, with excellent follow-through and accountability.
• Comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in CRM systems and standard business productivity applications.
• A passion for Yondr's mission.
• Preferred experience in selling to the K–12 education sector.
• Preferred experience with presenting to school boards, district leadership teams, or educational organizations.
• Familiarity with public sector purchasing processes and responding to RFPs is preferred.
• Previous experience representing an organization at conferences, trade shows, or industry events is preferred.
• Preferred experience in solution-based or consultative B2B sales.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working on a computer.
• Effective communication skills in person, virtually, and via telephone.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Capability to transport sales materials, displays, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must reside in the Richmond, VA area.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; Yondr is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
