This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to technical and business validation and closing deals.
• Foster new customer acquisition throughout the UK and Benelux via outbound efforts, executive introductions, and building stakeholder relationships.
• Provide coverage for adjacent Northern European accounts as dictated by territory priorities.
• Create and manage a pipeline through disciplined outbound research and executive prospecting.
• Counsel customer prospects by understanding their challenges and objectives, and customize solutions for business impact.
• Position private, on-premise, and in-country deployment options in relation to data residency, sovereignty, regulatory standards, and the EU AI Act.
• Utilize senior executive relationships to foster strategic partnerships and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with partners and systems integrators to broaden reach and drive shared revenue.
• Work cross-functionally with technical and specialist teams.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on strategic engagements with enterprise customers and solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives and Marketing to enhance top-of-funnel activities.
• Define Benelux territory coverage and assist in expanding Cohere's presence in UK and Northern European enterprise markets.
• Provide insights that inform product feature prioritization to support enterprise AI adoption.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Over 10 years of B2B enterprise sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprise clients.
• Proven experience in negotiating and closing transformational 7-figure deals.
• Expertise in at least two key sectors: financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, or enterprise software.
• Hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to generate pipeline and establish a territory.
• Strong history of high performance and surpassing quotas.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and ability to accurately maintain CRM deal qualification and forecasting data.
• Experience in building and sustaining relationships with senior-level executives.
• Background in selling complex enterprise-level solutions, technical products, and private or on-premise deployments; AI/NLP experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of UK and European data residency, sovereignty, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners and systems integrators.
• High tolerance for ambiguity, capable of functioning as both a doer and a strategist.
• Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple team members.
• Strong technical understanding and creative deal-structuring skills.
• Exceptional communication, listening, relationship-building, and C-suite presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, Benelux, and Northern Europe as necessary.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
