This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist with ERISA §3(16) fiduciary functions by evaluating plan administration against established 3(16) procedures.
• Examine designated 3(16) plans for compliance with documented procedures and governance standards.
• Assess the alignment of daily plan administration with the established 3(16) processes.
• Identify discrepancies between documented procedures and their actual implementation.
• Document the outcomes of reviews using established frameworks and templates.
• Propose actionable next steps to address any procedural gaps or inconsistencies.
• Keep organized records that support procedural reviews and governance oversight.
• Review and suggest updates to procedures to align with operational practices.
• Assist in maintaining governance documentation that is current, accurate, and clearly articulated.
• Track procedural gaps, follow-up items, and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to verify the completion of corrective actions.
• Report significant risks or unresolved issues to management.
• Prepare summary reports and trackers concerning procedural reviews and alignment status.
• Aid in identifying trends related to recurrent procedural gaps.
• Serve as a resource for inquiries regarding 3(16) procedures and governance expectations.
• Work in partnership with operations, compliance, and leadership teams.
• Safeguard, secure, and handle confidential Ascensus data appropriately.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in retirement operations, compliance, governance, or a related domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to adhere to structured review standards.
• Experience in reviewing procedures, workflows, or documentation.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with others.
• Familiarity with ERISA or retirement plan administration is preferred.
• Experience in supporting procedural reviews or operational assessments is preferred.
• Interest in governance, fiduciary operations, or process enhancement is preferred.
• Industry certifications such as QKA or CRPS are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
• Capability to meet remote work requirements, including a distraction-free workspace, family care coverage during business hours, and the necessary internet speed.

• Family care is expected to be arranged during business hours.
• Required internet speed of 25 Mbps or higher.
