Golang Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance RESTful APIs, primarily utilizing Go.

• Maintain and enhance existing backend services.

• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

• Ensure high-quality code through static analysis and linting processes.

• Develop internal command-line interface (CLI) tools and supporting utilities.

• Work with technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, S3 storage, and containerized environments.

• Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.

• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to deliver reliable and scalable backend solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in backend/API development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Go and the creation of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and S3-compatible storage systems.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.

• Proficient shell/CLI skills.

• Understanding of Test-Driven Development and best practices for software quality.

• Residency in Germany.

• Proficient in German (C1 level).
