This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +1 more country.
• Act as the primary authority for validating customs unit prices for clinical trial materials provided by sponsors.
• Gather, assess, and record unit price data from sponsors using approved pricing documentation.
• Ensure that pricing information is precise, comprehensive, sufficiently supported, and adheres to company protocols.
• Analyze pricing methodologies provided by sponsors to identify potential risks in customs valuation.
• Maintain traceable, audit-ready documentation that supports pricing determinations and validation choices.
• Assist in the implementation and upkeep of global pricing governance standards.
• Engage in internal audits, client audits, and regulatory inspections concerning customs valuation processes.
• Keep abreast of changes in customs valuation regulations and suggest necessary process modifications.
• Conduct mandatory quality control reviews of unit prices prior to import/export activities.
• Validate unit prices for medicinal products and sponsor-supplied items that require fixed pricing controls.
• Review supporting documents to ensure pricing accuracy and completeness.
• Reject and return pricing records that fail to meet validation criteria.
• Approve compliant pricing records and document decisions within the specified systems.
• Function as the approval gate for validated materials progressing through the import/export process.
• Collaborate with Project Management & Delivery teams to set up study materials within Parexel systems.
• Work together with Sponsors to secure the necessary unit price data and documentation.
• Provide GTC teams with validated pricing information for the preparation of customs invoices.
• Participate in project meetings and offer updates on pricing validation status.
• Communicate pricing-related issues, risks, and delays to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with customs valuation inquiries from customs brokers, government entities, or project teams.
• Extensive experience in customs valuation, trade compliance, supply chain operations, or pricing governance.
• Background in clinical trial supplies, pharmaceutical logistics, or international trade related to healthcare.
• Strong grasp of customs valuation principles and the requirements for import/export documentation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in customs valuation methodologies and compliance controls.
• Proven track record in reviewing and validating data for accuracy and compliance.
• Experience working within global, cross-functional settings.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to spot data discrepancies.
• Skilled in evaluating complex pricing data and accompanying documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and document management expertise.
• Capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional global teams.
• Customer-oriented approach when engaging with sponsors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to operate within regulated environments and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Customs & Trade Compliance.
