This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Facilitate Anduril’s expansion in India by establishing connections with industry leaders throughout the country.
• Develop pre-contract strategies by defining scope, creating proposals, and generating term sheets.
• Provide supply chain insights to inform go/no-go decisions utilizing market intelligence and risk assessments.
• Keep track of developments in India’s industrial ecosystem, manufacturing technologies, and regulations.
• Identify, qualify, select, and integrate Indian suppliers across various commodity categories.
• Evaluate supplier technical capabilities, capacity, quality systems, and financial health.
• Comprehend and address risks associated with tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers.
• Promote localization efforts that align with national security supply chain mandates.
• Advise Indian industry partners on supply chain enhancement and sourcing strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Indian regulations, export controls, dual-use goods, sanctions, REACH, and RoHS.
• Act as a liaison among engineering, operations, program teams, and Indian manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with Product Sourcing Engineers and Global Sourcing Managers.
• Oversee supplier performance, manage escalations, implement corrective actions, and support strategic capacity planning and new product launches.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement with a focus on contract manufacturing.
• Preferably experienced within the defense, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors.
• Proven success in negotiating and managing complex manufacturing contracts with Indian suppliers.
• Strong understanding of Indian business culture, negotiation techniques, and relationship-building norms.
• Professional fluency in both English and Hindi, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experienced in navigating cross-cultural communications and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels in both languages.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian compliance requirements, including FEFTA, the Three Principles on Transfer of Defense Equipment, export controls, and dual-use technology regulations.
• Extensive knowledge across commodities such as electronics, precision manufacturing, materials, optics, sensors, and defense-related categories.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating agreements with Japanese firms.
• Strong analytical and financial insight.
• Proficient in total cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and make-vs-buy evaluations.
• Skilled in ERP systems and sourcing tools.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally around 30–40% of the time.
• Ability to coordinate across international time zones with U.S. partners.
